New Time, New Direction

Whoever invented Daylight Savings Time - the Pope, FDR, farmers' kids who have to ride the bus in the dark - is at it again.  At midnight your clock will jump to 1:00 a.m. and you know what that means?  You've just lost an hour of beauty sleep.  Maybe, in addition to resetting your clock, you might consider changing the direction of your decorationg compass.  Try something new.

Think about adding a little color into your scheme?

Allow your 'tween or teen to have more
input in their room decor?

Embrace the popularity of animal prints?

Take your 6 year old son's advice and
go with a Lego theme?

Ruin a beautiful fireplace and mantel
ensemble to appease your husband?

Confiscate the roomy pantry for your own personal space?

What ever new direction you choose to pursue,
have a plan.  And the key word:  moderation!

  1. Love the converted pantry space. Makes me think of a grown up version of the little space I would carve out behind a dresser in the basement laundry room when I was a kid. Cozy personal space. -cd
